Who Is This Program For
Best suited for advanced students interested in progressing their English proficiency by improving their TOEFL exam score to meet or exceed US university entrance requirements. Students with no experience with TOEFL exam will greatly benefit from TOEFL Preparation Course.
Class Schedule: Monday - Thursday (9:00AM - 2:00PM)
Course Placement
All incoming students are required to take the English Placement Test for placement into the appropriate course level. Due to the advanced level material and pacing of the course, students must score a level 6 on the placement exam to take this program.
Otherwise, we recommend students to postpone this course until after they have completed ESL 6 in the Intensive English Program. If you need to take the exam soon, we recommend TOEFL preparation private tutoring.
Course Levels
TOEFL Preparation
Learn important language skills and test-taking strategies for success on the TOEFL Exam. Special emphasis all four skills, specifically listening comprehension, grammar, reading comprehension, and ability to communicate clearly through speech and writing. Students will be prepared for an easy transition into a university classroom in the United States.
Dates
We offer open enrollment, so students may begin classes any Monday. For planning purposes, we encourage students to start at the beginning of each quarter for the best continuity. A/B sessions simply mark the midpoint of the quarter—students who begin at this point are still able to progress normally and are impacted in their level advancement.
